Dog Ear Publishing releases “Avatar’s Message for Peace, Prosperity & Happiness” by J.R. Tipirneni.

The author details teachings of Sri Sathya Sai Baba, who promotes peace, prosperity and happiness with practice of love and truth, in this new book released by Dog Ear Publishing.

A new era will soon begin, known as a Golden Age, and the faithful will lead movement to bring about peace and prosperity. That’s the message at the center of this new book by author J.R. Tipirneni, a follower of the avatar Sri Sathya Sai Baba (God Incarnate). Devotees call Him Swami, who declared in 2011 that His mission is to recharge mother earth for two years and then initiate the new age, known as Sai Ram Raj starting 2013.   His mission is to transform human mind and elevate mankind to a higher conscious plane starting 2036. (These divine vibrations originating from Bharat must have confused Mayans and declared the end of the world in December 2012). It is made clear here to avoid confusion.

“Avatar’s Message for Peace, Prosperity & Happiness” book explains the paradox of why so many residents of Bharat (pious name for India) live in poverty yet so many Avatars are born there. The writer’s research into divinity led him to Sai Baba, “the Guru of gurus.” Tipirneni believes that Swami was more than an avatar – He was a manifestation of divinity as explained in Sanathana Dharma (ancient wisdom), representing all faiths, despite their different cultures and paths; and yet recognized by their common goal: universal peace, prosperity and love. Sai Baba urged his students to follow his teachings and start universal love, help those in distress and participate in the coming age. He also declared that His mission will not fail and it is final.

The book synthesizes Eastern knowledge and Western methodology, detailing mind boggling miracles manifested by Sai Baba to confirm His glory, power and His authority on divinity connecting humanity. “The indisputable connection between the divine and the mundane world has become very clear to me,” the author writes. “Universal love quenches all evils”. “Human values (truth, love, right conduct, non-violence and peace) and service is to be practiced.” Service and broad-mindedness promote Unity. Every person must practice Unity and Purity to develop divinity. It generates positive cosmic energy and elevates every one’s conscious to the highest level enhancing the present world order status after eliminating evil qualities, selfishness and excessive greed. Bharat must re-learn the divine techniques, they forgot as explained in the book. Then Bharat will regain the past glory and then teach the knowledge to the world for a long lasting permanent peace. In short, it is combining the best of divinity and the best of mundane world.  “Know thyself”.

Author Jagadeswara Rao Tipirneni, born in Andhra Pradesh, India, came to the United States in 1969 as a student to study engineering, began working and eventually settled there. He spent more than10 years working on his own inner transformation, which includes gems of wisdom extracted from swami’s teachings, discourses and from the monthly magazine “Sanathana Sarathi.”

Movement’s Connections to Health Take Center Stage in New Book by Laura Cox and Karen Studd

Dog Ear Publishing releases “Everybody Is a Body” by Karen Studd and Laura Cox.

Two notes experts in movement offer their insights into how movement affects all aspects of life, including mental and physical pain, in this new book released by Dog Ear Publishing.

Movement is a fundamental human activity, but increased reliance – and use – of technology has changed how people interact with the world. This new book purports that even as people can connect with each other across the globe almost instantaneously, people are becoming increasingly disembodied, leading to “dis-ease” in physical, emotional and intellectual selves. Authors Karen Studd and Laura Cox, noted experts in movement, promote awareness of the potential and power of human movement as a means of expression.

“Everybody Is a Body” aims to help readers re-discover movement and how they relate to all people, whether they are professional athletes, performers or couch potatoes. Movement is such an unconscious, constant presence that people can begin to feel disconnected from body experiences and even their own physical existence. Technology and increasing specialized movements can enhance that disconnection. The authors write that this feeling, which they describe as “not feeling comfortable in one’s own skin,” can develop into actual chronic pain and disease. Movement awareness helps avoid stress and stressful situations, contributing to better health and well being.

The book cover all aspects of movement, starting with a chapter on basic information about movement itself and including chapters on how movement relates to language, posture and moving the whole body, moving portions of the body, the beauty of rotation, core support, the dynamic expression of movement, body shape, expression of space, and awareness. Language itself is infused with references to movement, the authors point out, especially when describing emotions: someone’s heart wrenches when parting with a loved one or a person will lose his breath when taking in a spectacular view. But studying movement is not simply an academic exercise, the authors note. Understanding movement and keeping in touch with how someone’s physical being relates and moves in the world is important to experiencing life to its fullest. As the authors write, “Knowing something about who you are as a mover leads to greater knowledge about who you are as a person.”

Author Karen Studd, who teaches movement analysis, somatics and dance, is master teacher for the Laban/Bartenieff Institute of Movement Studies, teaching internationally for training programs in movement analysis. She also serves as professor at George Mason University. Studd, known as a “body language expert,” has a master’s degree from the University of Oregon and is a certified movement analyst and registered somatic movement therapist and registered somatic movement educator. Laura Cox, a certified movement analyst and registered somatic movement educator and therapist, teaches Laban/Bertenieff movement studies, dance, kinesiology and somatics. Cox, who has a master’s degree in dance and dance education from New York University, has taught internationally and has a private practice in movement education, specializing in working with people suffering from chronic pain or injury. She’s been a faculty member of New York University and the University of Nebraska among others.

New Fiction Release Fast-Paced Crime Drama, with Romance, Supernatural Overtones – Book by Carson Leigh

Sergeant Gus Wolf, a veteran member of the Houston PD, finds himself hospitalized after a run-in with a burglar; as he recovers, the long-divorced Wolf kindles a romance with an attractive co-worker, Angela Guiterrez.  Their relationship blossoms, and on a weekend getaway to Wolf’s former hometown, Milwaukee, he finds himself asking questions about a string of child abductions that eerily resemble activity in Houston.  Wolf tries to push it from his mind, but he’s continually revisited by the notion that the two cities could be victimized by the same sick individual.  But how to make the connection?

Enter Cathy Lewis, an attractive (and single) detective in Milwaukee.  Working with her, Wolf learns that there’s more to the crime than there appears.  An international child-pornography ring is operating online, and the police are working with the FBI to bring it to justice.  Wolf is drawn to Detective Lewis, but is the attraction purely professional?  Can he solve the crime with Lewis’s help and maintain his burgeoning relationship with Angela?  Will his instincts prove correct, and can he stop the criminal before he hurts another child?  Can the FBI end the child pornography ring?

Movement, published by Dog Ear Publishing, is a rip-roaring ride, with lively characters and edge-of-the-seat suspense combined with salty good humor.  Sergeant Gus Wolf is a memorable hero, and the readers will find themselves rooting for him throughout the story.  Author Carson Leigh is a retired police sergeant who spent his 25 years of police service in Houston, Texas.  He was the first recipient of the Houston Police Department’s “Award of Excellence”, and received over 60 commendations for public service.  His vast police experience lends a truly authentic flavor to this, his first novel.
