Dog Ear Publishing releases “Spiritual Value of Gem Stones” by Wally and Jenny Richardson with Lenora Huett.

Authors Wally and Jenny Richardson have revised and updated fascinating information about the spiritual value of a dazzling array of gemstones in this new release by Dog Ear Publishing. Using their spiritual channel, Lenora Huett, the Richardsons share their entirely unique findings with readers.

Gem stones have long been held in high regard by humankind; since the earliest recorded period of human history, these stones have been used in a variety of ways, for purposes decorative as well as talismanic. Ancient books speak reverently of gem stones, but there is very little information about the actual value of the stones apart from their fiscal value. Authors Wally and Jenny Richardson have conducted extensive research, working in conjunction with their spiritual channel, Lenora Huett, and have collected this information for the edification of readers who are curious about the spiritual energies of these beautiful and helpful stones.

In addition to breaking down the spiritual attributes of precious and semi-precious gem stones, the authors explore the seven crystal systems, – systems that determine the aggregation of atoms that creates the shape and pattern of each gem stone. The book also contains chapters focusing on metals and ores as well as less significant stones, – stones that have less powerful energy patterns or that are not directly involved with humanity at present. It is the hope of the authors that this knowledge of the many different stones will help create “growth, understanding and eventual attunement” between people’s souls, they write. “Spiritual Value of Gem Stones” is a fascinating delve into the many helpful aspects of these ancient stones and the many ways in which humanity can derive deeper understand from them.

Author Wally Richardson, a retired pilot and businessman, has been a longtime student of metaphysical teachings; Jenny Richardson has thoroughly studied comparative religions and healing techniques through the vegetable kingdom and the powers of the mind. The authors teamed with Lenora Huett, a spiritual channel for the higher forces, an arduous process to which Lenora has devoted many years.

Amanullah Khan Takes Readers on Poetic Journey in New Book

coverKhan

Dog Ear Publishing releases “Sifting Shades” by Amanullah Khan.

A poet contemplates life’s wonders both complex and simple with a collection of poems in this new book released by Dog Ear Publishing.

Explore the spectrum of life’s experiences through the eyes of a doctor and poet with this new volume of poetry that contains Sufi thought and contemporary verse, to Villanelle. Dr. Amanullah Khan offers profound insights to reveal life at its most elemental level, exploring the relationship between humanity and the environment, and showing nature in all its forms, from the emerging, delicate wings of a butterfly to the fate of a glacier.

In “Sifting Shades,” Khan writes of joy and sorrow, describing their convergence in metaphysical and spiritual terms. His poem “To the Critic” explores the act of writing poetry and his delight in doing so: “Let me chase infinity. Let the ideas soar. Let me have the ecstasy. Let my pen explore.” A bicycle left behind becomes a metaphor for the cycle of life in “Cycle.” As Khan writes, “Wheels frozen, tires deflated, worn in the dash to nowhere. Dents on the aging frame evidenced knocks of life, flakes of decay falling off from the languished metal.” The gently amusing entry “Longevity” ponders the irony of a bushel of plums, eaten gradually. “The last remaining was so wrinkled, what a change with time. Longevity is a cruel bargain. Plum is bartered for a prune.”

Dr. Amanullah Khan, an oncologist and hematologist practicing with Cancer Center Associates, belongs to numerous medical associations. He received his medical degree from King Edward Medical College and PhD from Baylor University, Texas. He has dedicated this book to his three daughters. He began learning English when he was 3, taught by his father. His mother sang Punjabi poetry to him when he was a small boy.
